Following the rapid escalation of interventions to delay the spread of COVID-19 across the UK, and in anticipation of the inevitable economic impact of these steps, the Chancellor recently announced a package of emergency measures to support businesses through this period of economic disruption.
Many business owners will be seeking to understand their options with regards to accessing government support, forms of emergency funding or short-term liquidity that may be available.
Keeping you informed during a national crisis
At Shaw & Co we will provide as much information as possible to help business owners during this difficult time. We are continually talking to our banking partners and other providers of finance to identify the sources of funding and financial support that are available, and most importantly, how to access them.
CBILS Support Service
We have launched a CBILS Support Service to help you apply to the Coronavirus Business Interruption Loan Scheme (CBILS). Our service is there if you need advice on taking a loan (from £150k up to £5m) as well as help in preparing the business case and supporting information that your lender will need. Our service can also offer support if your CBILS application has been rejected by your lender.
CLBILS Support Service
We have also launched a CLBILS Support Service supporting mid-size and large SMEs. If your business has a turnover greater than £45m and you are looking to borrow up to £200m, we now offer a professional support service to secure your Coronavirus Large Business Interruption Loan.
