I often call myself an “Accidental Entrepreneur”. I started my business career as employee number 100,001 at Boots the Chemists before being invited to join a marketing services company with just 100 employees.  That’s when I had my first window into the world of entrepreneurship, seeing the Directors of the business wrestle with cashflow crunches, tricky external investors and the problems and opportunities of rapid growth.  And then my client asked me to set up my own business…

So together with two female partners, we launched an agency to service the event requirements of the mighty Microsoft.  Six years later, after rapid growth, we sold the business to a major Advertising Group, and following some very interesting times I left the business to move to Bristol and begin the next chapter of my entrepreneurial journey.
